I leave for Florida later this week and as I began to consider packing this evening, I came to the realization that I am pretty routine now a days. Especially after this weekend of heat. Here are my top picks for this summer season from skin care to wardrobe multi-functions:

1. Aura Cacia Peppermint Essential Oil: I carry this around in my purse for exceptionally hot days. When the heat gets to be uncomfortable, I spread a drop onto the insides of my wrists, behind my ears, right under my hair line where it meets my neck, and occasionally on my temples. You only need a little bit to make a big difference.
2. Aveeno Protect + Hydrate 50 SPF: This light weight SPF is sweat and water resistant. It smells so refreshing making it a no brainer to apply before sun exposure.
3. Skin Ceuticals Phyto Corrective Gel: Last summer I experienced terrible sun poisoning on my face. Hair-guru @BrittanySpitale directed me to this product to aid the blisters and sores. Magic. I now continue to use it for a number of purposes: blemishes, sun burn, dullness, and dryness.
4. Aerin Amber Musk: This perfume, quite literally as advertised, is "warm. inviting. cozy." The sensual florals and hints of coconut are an amazing combination to wear throughout the day.
5. Young Nails Rose Oil: If your skin and nails are like mine, you may experience dryness from time to time. This fragrant cuticle oil is delicate and soothing for nail and cuticle care.
6. Anthropologie's Pilcro Denim Trucker Jacket (similar): This dark wash cropped denim adds that extra touch to an outfit. It can be worn casual or dressed up making it a great add-on for chilly summer nights no matter what your plans may be.
7. Zara Ribbed Jumpsuit: Lounge around the house, dress up for work, or wear it out for errands or a night out. It's so comfortable and so versatile. It also comes in black or red.
8. Zara Knotted Swimsuit: The perfect swimsuit for those of you like me: not trying to jump on the "one suit" bandwagon trend but still kind of about it. This suit is high rise with a general cutout. Ideal for bigger chests or baby chests like mine.
