DIY: Wedding Edition

My handwriting has quite frankly become a part of my presence, my personality, my being. I owe my talent to my left hand and my early childhood Catholic education that incorporated cursive hand-writing into its curriculum. This past weekend, my typography doodles went beyond my own personal notebooks and became a part of reality. The beautiful @AlliePfahl got married and asked me to assist her with some signage for her venue.

Allie provided each of the signs, all for $20 or less from Michaels and Marshalls. I was in charge of the marker selection. For those of you trying this at home: WATER BASED over OIL BASED. If you're anything like me and you dive in blind without a layout plan, you will thank yourself later for purchasing markers that wipe off effortlessly. Because trust me, those late nights will result in the wrong words on the wrong signs, or self criticism due to minor details.
