Wedding season has finally come to an end for me so there is nothing else I am doing this week but relaxing. Relaxing aside, I couldn't let my readers down, so I collaborated with the talented Risa to introduce you all to a healthy and delicious morning prep:
Whenever eats, fast and easy.
If you are busy in the morning or just like those extra hits on the snooze button, eating breakfast can be almost impossible. Here are some recipes to get the most important meal of the day back in your diet.
OVERNIGHT OATS
Ingredients
1/2 cup of oats
1/3 cup of yogurt (any flavor you like)
1 tbs of chia seeds
1 banana
Almond Milk
Peanut butter
Recipe
Grab a 1 quart mason jar, or any other container with a lid. Measure out and pour your oats, yogurt, chia seeds, and sliced banana into the mason jar. Fill the rest of the jar with vanilla Almond Milk and stir. Cover and put the jar in the fridge overnight. Finish in the morning (or about 6 hours) by topping with any fruits, granola, or peanut butter and ENJOY!
CHIA SEED PUDDING
Ingredients
6 tbs of chia seeds
2 cups of Almond Milk (plain, vanilla, or chocolate)
1 tbs of honey
Desired fruits
Peanut butter
Recipe
Grab a 1 quart mason jar, or any other container with a lid. Measure out the chia seeds and almond milk then pour into the mason jar. Add honey to sweeten if you wish. Refrigerate over-night or 6-8 hours. Top with any fruit of your choice, a dollop of peanut butter, and ENJOY!
